What is Yoga for Triathletes?

Yoga for Triathletes is a yoga class customized to the needs of triathletes. The practice includes flowing sequences of yoga postures specifically targeted to stretch and open overworked areas of the body, and to strengthen and balance areas that become imbalanced during intense multisport training. In addition, breathing exercises and meditation help athletes connect the body and mind in order to create an edge in training and maximize race day performance. All levels are welcome, no prior yoga experience required.

About the Founder

Jennifer Alexander has been practicing yoga for 13 years and currently teaches weekly classes at Moksha Yoga Center. She created Yoga for Triathletes after working with private triathlete clients and observing the immense benefits yoga can provide to the triathlete body and mind. A runner and avid triathlon fan, Jennifer is passionate about sharing the practice of yoga to help people achieve their goals - both on the course and in life.
